Who knew I would be interested in football when I reached adulthood. I not sure how it happened except that it was something about Atlanta Falcon football. I can't tell you the year or day I watched a game for the first time. All I remember was that Steve Bartkowski was the quarterback and it was 1985 or so. Ever since I've been a die-hard fan. I try to get to one or two games per season; otherwise, I'm front and center watching on TV and talking shhhh on social media.
The highlight of my career as an Atlanta Falcon football fan is that doggone jingle/gospel featuring Samuel Jackson. It's simply genius. It's become Atlanta's anthem and I have to say it gives me chills to hear it.
Above it all, I'm one of many Georgia peaches gracing Atlanta and I love my city. I'm proud to call this place home and when you watch this video, you'll see other noted Atlantans singing the same song.
